Alright. There are a number of things I have noticed about my sites. One: No one is on them. Two: They are filled with cobwebs. Three: They are collecting dust.

When Tehraptor first created the Rapid Prototyping Wiki for me, I never realized it needed to be updated for info to flow, or how important it is to DOCUMENT INFORMATION. Now I have the Rapid Prototyping Wiki, and Tech-DIY. They have both been Idle, collecting dust in a corner. I have a new horizon for this wiki. Of course, I cannot do this alone. I will work a little in the forum, and add a ton of new info. Anyone else, please help me out!!!

Also please note: If I can get these sites cleaned up, I will officially release the Helix 1.2 for other people to build. That will also speed up reasearch. I will sell the parts online, besides the reprap electronics, and use the profits for development. Helix 2.0 Automata is nearer than I thought.

Is there a way to hide forum topics? If we get enough users, I think it is a good idea to hide the topics away (for memories), because not many people want to chat about themes, page tags, and topics(except admins). These are for development.

Official Re-Launch

This saturday is the official relaunch of this wiki, which has pretty much died.

The Helix is almost finished and working!
New ideas are being researched for rapidprototyping. these were delayed for a while by budget issues, but no more!

I was just at the Tech DIY (no forum?) and saw your Yogurt page. I don't understand your hypothesis : "We mix yogurt with milk, right?" Er… what does this mean? How do you plan on making yogurt?

Your Start Page

Your start page is an 'effin disaster. The bounce rate is absolutely horrid, but it's down 7% since I added the topic links. When someone lands on your start page they look it at first rather than side nav or top nav. You might want to put some thought into what someone who doesn't know anything about rapid prototyping wants to know and create a "getting started" section that introduces someone to both Rapid Prototyping and the wiki itself.

Forum Recommednation

I highly recommend forum links from the side bar, both for the forum itself and the recent posts. When you have regular members they will want to go straight to the forum.

You also need to think about community building — the best way to do this is post on your forum. People want a place to ask questions and chat about Rapid Prototyping — but they *will not* post on a dead, empty, or inactive forum. This is very important.

A Note About Page Slugs

I noticed that you're using plural page slugs. For example :

extruders rather than extruder.

In practice I've found it better to use the singular because it make the page slug always singular (except in the case of lists list of extruders) and the page title plural (if necessary) because it makes it easier to link pages :
